Product Information

This Guideline examines the five main cloud computing ‘personalities’ of organisations, as highlighted in recent research by NTT Com Security (formerly Integralis). It covers the following topics:

  • The main cloud personas – from Controller to Embracer.
  • The factors delaying/driving the adoption of cloud among organisations.
  • The attitude of UK organisations to cloud adoption and other key trends.
  • Conclusions and the need to embed security and risk management into active clouds.

The Guideline does not recommend specific cloud products or services, but looks to define where organisations are today in terms of their attitudes to cloud, levels of adoption and enthusiasm for cloud.

By understanding where your own organisation fits in this mix, you can assess how far ahead of or behind others you are in terms of cloud adoption, and how your approach to risk and security and use of third-party services compares to others.
