NCC Members Question: Holding confidential data on iPads

NCC Members can ask relevant questions of the wider NCC membership, moderated by NCC. We collate the responses, where appropriate anonymise them, then publish the results on the website for the benefit of the wider Membership. Can you help with this question from a Member firm?

“Increasingly, iPads are being used to hold information that is covered by the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We are looking to create a risk register and assume that there is a template for such a report if a pre-populated one is not available. We are looking to find out what has already been done by other organisations – ie, to build on their/that experience?”
