Analytics & Business Intelligence - turning information into better decisions

6 December 2011, NCC Executive briefing – Round Table Dinner

Sponsored by:

We are delighted to invite you, as our guest, to a Round Table Dinner and facilitated networking dinner at The Maze by Gordon Ramsey, Grosvenor Square, London on 6th December 2011 - 5.30pm-9pm.

In an age of no excuses, successful government organisations are increasingly recognised by the quality of the decisions they make and the actions they enable. Decision-makers in Government organisation need to analyse trends, predict outcomes, and revise strategies accordingly and all against a backdrop of decreasing timeframes and decreasing budgets.

The objective is to enable Government organisations to achieve precise, actionable answers to drive better decisions through the use of analytics and business intelligence?

No matter:

  • The volume or type of information
  • The speed at which it’s needed
  • The detail to which it is examined
  • The number and level of decision-makers involved

The challenge is to turn information into action, and enable decision-makers at all levels to produce the results that both organisation and customers or citizens demand. Moving your business forward is a lot like driving a car. Making decisions based on snapshot reports of the past is like trying to drive looking only in the rear view mirror.

To move forward, you need good vision, and a dynamic approach to information analysis. That enables you to see what’s coming:

  • Predictive, real-time, and complex analysis
  • Delivered within your time frame and budget
  • Able to grow flexibly and economically

So just how you deliver the answers your organisation needs to keep moving ahead?

The Round Table programme will include independent specialists from the National Computing Centre and Sybase, an SAP Company. The session will include an informed briefing followed by dinner and stimulating discussion to assess to challenges, the opportunities and the pivotal role effective use of technology can play in helping the organisation better understand the immediate and future demands from the customer.

This Round Table has been designed for Government organisations that are driven by looking at opportunities to enhance its decision making, reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and service management further.
