Most organisations have installed SharePoint, at the very least to investigate its powerful feature set. Many organisations have found SharePoint to be a capable tool that can be applied successfully to a range of enterprise functions and a lot of these organisations are now running older versions of SharePoint such as 2003 and 2007.
The latest version of SharePoint Server, 2010, delivers more features and offers a major overhaul in capability, ease of use, ease of administration, and ease of integration compared to the 2007 version. However SharePoint is a complex product and despite the ease of use benefits, upgrading from earlier versions to 2010 is known to be problematic.
Attend this National Computing Centre seminar to get to grips with what you have to do to make your SharePoint 2010 migration successful first time. Our SharePoint expert Dr. Ian Woodgate will share his experience in helping many clients plan, prepare for and implement the migration smoothly.
