IASME assessors workshop

Information Assurance for SMEs
22nd November 2011, University of Worcester

This workshop will examine the IASME programme in detail and pass on the knowledge for you to go into an SME and assess the security of its business information. This will be an intense day where we will look at both the IASME process and the commercial arrangements to create a mutually rewarding and self-sustaining scheme.

To cover the tuition costs and associated licensing/assessor certification, we are making a charge of £600.00 (+VAT) per individual (with a reduced fee of £100 (+VAT) for a second named delegate from within the same organisation). The pre-requisite is that delegates should have a reasonable grounding in information security principles. Experience of national and international management standards - especially ISO/IEC 27001 - is desirable. We can then apply your knowledge to IASME. (The fees are 'recoverable' when you sign-up and deliver IASME assessments to your clients.)

If you feel the need for an information security 'top up' we are offering a 1-day 'Security: from risk to treatment with the same fee structure the day before.

The workshop will be hosted by the University of Worcester at its City Campus (full programme and venue details to follow). You are welcome to pass on the invitation to any of your colleagues who may be interested.

We look forward to welcoming you to the IASME programme.
